Spencer Urbe - 2019 LHP Gladiator Baseball

Silsbee Junior to be Spencer Urbe put on a clinic last Saturday against an older more mature La. Legends team. The 6’1 left hander moved the baseball from side to side and did a good job of changing speeds. Very impressed with pitchability and the 79-81 fastball velocity is comfortably above average. Good prospect.

Miles Daniels - 2019 LHP Micah Bowie Bulls

I wish there was more info on this young man. However, at 6’7,  it was a treat to see him show glimpses of what might be when the development and skills catch up with the body. When the delivery was in sync the angle on fastball and breaking balls was good, the effect it had on young hitters was devastating. If velocity ever reaches upper 80’s, which I am confident it will, Miles will be hard to deal with.

Sam Hoffpauir - 2017 RHP Louisiana Sr.-Uncommitted
Sam had another good weekend pitching for Louisiana Senior. Hoffpauir went 3 innings vs LTG Stars and struck out 6 hitters while only walking 1 and giving up 0 hits. Sam sits around mid 80's with his fastball.
Matt Abshire - 2019 C Louisiana Legends Jr.
Matt is great defensively behind the plate and has a pop time of 1.9-2.1. But Abshire had a good weekend at the plate going 4-8 with 2 runs scored and 4 rbi's.

Tyler Pope - 2020 RHP/UTL Louisiana Legends Jr.

Tyler had a good weekend at the plate and on the mound. Tyler went 4-8 with 3 runs scored and 3 rbi's. An on the mound Pope went 4 innings  with 3 k's and gave up 0 hits. Tyler should command of his fastball (82-86) and curve.

Hunter Sims - 2020 OF CenLa White Sox

Hunter is a good looking player for the CenLa White Sox. He went 3-7 with 2 runs scored and with 3 rbi's. If Hunter countiues to develop he will be a good player to watch for in the next upcoming years.
